Last month, I went to the in-person talk about Glide by Glidance in London. Launching in winter 2025, it's a new mobility aid for people with sight loss, that could replace a white cane, or guide dog. This post is about my thoughts on the device.

Blind People Use Phones Too

Hello Everyone,

I hope you're well. 

I'm surprised that in 2024, a post like this needed to be written. For context, a friend of mine sent me a reel on Instagram. Both the content and the comments inspired me to share some clarity on the situation.

My Thoughts On Blind Barbie

Today's blog post is about Mattel's new blind barbie doll. If you aren't part of the VI community, you might not have heard about it. I wanted to share my thoughts on the doll and discuss some of the criticism I've seen from blind and visually impaired people about it.
